The four one-hour videos trace the evolution of surfing through renown filmmakers and their works in a chronological progression from Bud Browne’s 1940’s footage of Waikiki and early Makaha pioneers, to Taylor Steele’s ’90s videography of today’s wonderkids. With noted surf historian/ author Matt Warshaw’s literate commentaries delivered by Robert “Wingnut” Weaver, the episodes layer candid, behind-the-scenes interviews with highlight film and tape segments that capture the richness of each era.
