The movie was filmed at G-Land Indonesia during and around the 1996 Quicksilver Pro contest. It captures the beauty of the place as well as the perfection of the surf there. This also vid revives the mystique that surrounds the art of tube riding. Feel the tube, hear the tube, be the tube. The whole movie's about the tube, and that's what's most refreshing, considering the tube is G-Land and the surfers talking about and getting all the good barrels are the best surfers in the world; Shane Beschen, Slater, Carroll, Booth, Machado the list goes on but does not get boring. Can you say rewind button. There's this awesome techno music that's just as fast as the surfing and just different enough to really enjoy. |
